This song is one achingly beautiful crescendo. It builds and builds and lifts you up, higher and higher. I love it when music is so wonderful, so stirring, you can feel it vibrating every cell in your body…feel it want to spill out your eyes and ears and fingertips…feel your heart swell and take up the same beat…and then you understand so clearly that the ability to experience music is one very good reason to stay on this earth for as long as you can manage. I cannot bear to imagine life without it.
